The beautiful village of D'Ecousse is located on the north shores of Isle Madame along Lennox Passage on Hwy 320. Settled in the early 1700's by French and Irish settlers drawn to it's shores by the lucrative cod fishery, many descendants of those settlers still reside in the village.
