Tina and Denny Ehler and their sons, Denton, Randy and Arthur, have been serving customers here since Ehler’s Convenience is located along the Bras d’Or Lakes on highway 105 in the beautiful village of Whycocomagh-meaning “head of the waters” in the Mi’kmaq language. Ehler’s are on route to the Highland village of Iona, the Alexander Grahem Bell museum in Baddeck and the Newfoundland ferry, as well as, the world famous “Cabot Trail” !

The first Scottish settlers arrived in the area in 1821 and their spirit has been kept alive through Gaelic language, song, dance and fiddle music-check out the many Ceilidhs throughout the summer and enjoy the heart of this rich cultural heritage!
